Azrael: Looking for love at first sight... |
Hi, I'm Azrael! I thought I would never find a forever home because I have eye problems. Who wants a sighthound with sight problems? I have something called corneal endothelial dystrophy. It’s rare in a young guy like me – I’m only six years old. But then my pal Virgil (who has even worse eye problems than me) got a forever home of his very own, so I thought… maybe there is hope for me too!
My foster mom says I am an easy going, curious and quirky guy. Since my vision isn’t so good, I can be startled by sudden movements and have stepped on my Bichon Frise foster brother a few times. (Sorry, Tyler! I lose track of my feet sometimes.) I was afraid of cars when I first retired, but I am getting the hang of riding in them now. I have some Separation Anxiety too, but my foster mom loves me very much and is working on it with me.
I’d probably do bad in a house with a cat, good in a house with another dog, and great in a house with a dog big enough for me to see.
I don’t need perfect eyesight to see my forever family clearly in my heart. Could you be my forever family? |
